about

  • The driving force in my creative pursuits is the expression of the human experience through a study of darkness and light. Beauty and serenity exist in the interaction of the two forces in the physical world, the mind, and the soul. This concept is explored through both literal and conceptual subject matters in my visual works and writing. Topics such as the meaning of memory, the struggles of the mind, and the beauty of a moment are examples of areas I seek to better understand through introspection, connection, and creation.

  • Since I was a child, I have always experienced pure joy and escape through creativity. From building worlds in the backyard or basement of my childhood home to spending hours writing, drawing, and painting, I have always had an urge to transform and create in the space around me. My brother, Brice, has always been my creative companion. Together we would explore worlds entirely constructed in our own minds. Companionship has always been an inspiration in my creative thought process, and I believe that the fulfillment of connecting with my brother impacted the way I view creativity to this day.
